How the work is actually run
Every removals firm says it is careful. Fewer will tell you what they have decided before the day, who is on the vehicle, and which jobs they turn down. This page does those three things.
Nothing is decided on the morning
Vehicle, crew size, start time, loading order, permits and shuttles are all settled at survey and written on the quote. A moving day that contains a decision is a moving day that is already running late.
One crew, both ends
The people who wrap it are the people who carry it in — including at the far end of a long-distance job. Nothing is handed to a firm who has never seen the house.
We plan around the legal limits
Driver hours are fixed points, not a target to work around. A schedule that only works if somebody breaks them is not a schedule.
Corridors, not postcodes
Which road serves your street tells us more than your postcode ever will. It decides the vehicle, the start time and the length of the day.
We say no out loud
House clearance, pianos, safes, London-to-London moves, purely local work in the towns with their own firms. Every one of those is somebody else's job done better.
What a county firm is for
Cross-county work, mainly. A move from Sevenoaks to a village outside Canterbury crosses three road systems and two different access problems. Split between a firm at each end it becomes a handover; planned as one job it is straightforward.
And the long runs — out of Kent to Scotland, the North and the West Country, and the busier direction, London and the Home Counties moving out to a Kent village.
Where we stop
These towns have their own removals firms who know those streets in a way a county outfit cannot. For a move that starts and finishes in one of them, ring them:
- Tunbridge Wells — The Pantiles side, the Victorian villas and the common.
- Folkestone — The harbour, the Leas and the Creative Quarter.
- Herne Bay — Seafront flats and the bungalow belt behind them.
- Whitstable — Fisherman’s cottages and alleys no lorry will enter.

Why there are no prices here
Because any figure written before someone has seen your volume, your access and your dates would be invented. Invented numbers get corrected on the day, when you have least room to argue and most to lose.
You get a written quote after a survey instead: the scope, what is included, what would change it, and what happens if your dates move.
Comparing us with somebody else
Do. Ask all of us the same three questions — where will the vehicle stand, who is doing the wrapping, and what happens if the completion slips. The answers separate firms faster than the prices do.
