- The access
- Floor, stairs, lift, and whether a long vehicle can reach and turn. If you are not sure, a photograph of the approach answers it.
- The volume
- Rooms is enough to start — a three-bed semi, a cottage plus a loft, one room of furniture.
- The dates
- Including the ones that are not yours to control. A date that might move changes the plan, not the price.
- The awkward item
- A piano, a marble table, a longcase clock, a reclaimed fireplace, a safe. Tell us now rather than on the day.
